Buenos Aires Photoblog: Saarland is the epitome of an industrial region. It has ironworks going back to 1873 and has been bombed and fought over for centuries for the riches and weapons it provides. In many ways it is like Joo's Silesia, except, of course, that Silesia is lost to Germany forever, and Saarland looks like it is here to stay.

I've been away for a few days so interesting to catch up with more of the sculptures ... this one particularly appeals to me.
