  2. wooki: Xynthia did, indeed, cause a lot of trees to fall in these woods, but I think she was not to blame for knocking these down. They have been felled to make room for an extension to the Hermann Neuberger sport school.

    joo: Apparently, the forest was developed to feed the coalmines. So, I guess you would probably have similar forest in Silesia, too.
