..great picture! .. stairs like normal, but there is something extraordinary in them..:)
Graffiti, stairs, windows, metal signs in the windowgrill, metal curves - I really like the stairrail - very nice photo. Even the dirt looks like art, ;-)

What is the purpose of the hoop every so often?
Yes, like Julie, I was wondering about them, too. Perhaps they are for attaching some hanging baskets?
Julie, Martina: I have no idea what the hoops are for. I think the building had something to do with local electricity generation or distribution.
