Julie: The trees are in rows on well-tended grass, so I assume they are fruit trees in an orchard, probably plum or apple trees. They are also relatively exposed on the hillside. I also wonder if their shape my be affected by pruning.
Hilda: If they are plum trees (see my reply to Julie), they might look like this.
