On my trip along the upper reaches of the Saar, I am using a little guide book for hikers. Usually, a hiking trail is good enough for bikers, but not in the case of these disused rail tracks.

Hi, Keiko. Yes, they are, sadly, no longer used. That is why they are now marked as a footpath — and why I ended up trying to cycle along them. I hope you have a good week, too.

Yeah, balance was a bit tricky. Even more so with logs fallen across the rails.
