Thanks for the comments. Many have asked why the net is there. I can think of two possible explanations: a) there is a Christo fan in Burbach, or b) they are gutting out the interior of the building as they renovate it and need to protect the cars and pedestrians on the busy street below from falling concrete.
Joan Elizabeth, Pat Tillett, joo, Sandra, arabesque: See my attempt to explain the mystery above.
photo ex machina: I know. I had to take a photo.
Cezar and Léia: Or maybe you could get a parachute for Luna?
That's an awfully big net. What is is protecting, the people inside or the people outside?
ReplyDeletewhat the heck is that thing for?
ReplyDeleteI haven't been commenting much lately, but I'm still looking!
your eye is great...
It's really strange thing - any idea what its aim?
ReplyDeleteVery strange!
ReplyDeleteI guess we are all waiting to see if you know why the building is veiled. I'm guessing it's crumbling. Nice angle shot.
ReplyDeleteIt's different, but I could be safe for my little kitty Luna, to go to the balcony with this net around ...I think it could work a lot! LOL
ReplyDeleteLéia
