If you have any idea what this is, let me know. It is in the grounds of the old Villeroy & Boch building. So, presumably it has something to do with the making of ceramics.
I saw the strange object and thought, I will try and figure out what it is before reading your post to find out what it was .... then I discovered that you don't know either!!
If you turn it right-side up I'd have to say it could make a fabulous conversation/coffee table. Restoration Hardware would charge a small fortune for such a great find!
Yikes, I would hate to have to move that thing. I can't help identify it though.
