Yes, the foot of a bridge called the Ostspange. I am not sure where exactly the name comes from. Normally, Spange is a metal clasp. There is also a Westspange at the other end of the city, but it is of a different form. So I guess Spange signifies its role in traffic planning, rather the bridge construction.; February 11, 2009 9:58 AM
