I wonder if the warning is for the workers or trespassers. Thanks for sharing AB. Like I've said before your blog has become an educationa tool for me.Sandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14141747252124173094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9208682433568179591.post-15147736164156209712010-08-28T10:06:49.921+02:002010-08-28T10:06:49.921+02:00Thanks for the comments.

In better light, it is clearer that the crocodile's head is a dangerous drilling device.

Cezar and Léia: Do not let this put you off visiting the museum. If there are such creatures, they have them well-caged.

Eki: I added my attempt at a translation to the original entry. The point of the poster is to warn you of the dangers of the drilling machines. But, I think this is an insult to the miners intelligence. Anyone can see the things are dangerous.

JM: And that is after it has faded with age.

joo: Dziękuję.

James: It is not on your usual tourist route. But, if you are visiting the great new Pompidou Centre in Metz, you could quickly take trip out to this museum.ABhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17159965456052359554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9208682433568179591.post-76748187645893892182010-08-28T04:38:56.095+02:002010-08-28T04:38:56.095+02:00Very interesting poster.
